How do I ship my old media to Legacybox?
Once you place an order, we send you a reinforced, prepaid Legacybox kit. Simply fill it with your tapes, film, and photos, then drop it off at any UPS location.
What happens to my original analog tapes and photos?
We treat your memories with the utmost care. After the digitization process is complete, we return all of your original media back to you along with your new digital copies.
How long does the digitization process take?
Standard processing typically takes 10 to 12 weeks from the time we receive your kit. This allows our technicians to manually clean, digitize, and quality-check every item.
What digital formats will I receive?
You can choose to receive your digitized memories on a Thumb Drive, a set of DVDs, or via a secure Digital Download link through our cloud service.
Is my media safe during transit?
Yes, every Legacybox kit includes a prepaid UPS tracking label. You will receive email notifications at every step of the journey, from the moment it leaves your porch to the moment it arrives at our lab.
What if my tapes are old or slightly damaged?
Our specialists are trained to handle aging media. While we cannot repair snapped tape or severe mold, we use professional-grade equipment to get the best possible transfer from your aging analog formats.
